Silicon Hexaboride Powder

Silicon hexaboride is a kind of powder with black gray appearance. The chemical formula is SiB6. The relative density is 3.0g/cm3 and the melting point is 2200 ℃. Silicon hexaboride is insoluble in water. It is resistant to oxidation, thermal shock and chemical attack. It has high strength and stability especially under thermal shock.

Silicon Hexaboride Powder Application

Our silicon hexaboride powder has high purity, high natural packing density and narrow particle size distribution. It is suitable for the following occasions:
1. Used for all kinds of standard abrasives and grinding cemented carbide;
2. It is used for engineering ceramic materials, sandblasting nozzle, anufacturing blade of gas engine and other special-shaped sintered parts and seals;
