Iron Cobalt Alloy Powder for Soft Magnetic Materials

Iron cobalt alloy powder refers to the iron-based alloy powder with about 50% cobalt content. It is a kind of soft magnetic powder, mainly used as soft magnetic material. Sometimes, 1.4-1.8% vanadium (V) is usually added in order to improve the processability, so it is also called Fe-Co-V soft magnetic alloy powder.

Application of Iron Cobalt Alloy Powder

1. Iron cobalt alloy powder has very high saturation flux density BS (2.4t) and Curie temperature (980 ~ 1100 ℃), which is suitable for making aviation electrical appliances (micro motor, electromagnet, relay, etc.) with light weight, small volume and high working temperature.
2. Iron cobalt alloy powder has high saturation magnetostriction coefficient λ s. It can be used to make magnetostrictive transducer.
3. Iron cobalt alloy powder can also be used in high torque motor rotor, electromagnet pole head, eardrum vibrator, power transformer, magnetostrictive transducer and other occasions.
