Spherical Aluminum Oxide Powder

Spherical aluminum oxide powder refers to aluminum oxide powder which is spherical under scanning electron microscope (SEM). Spherical aluminum oxide powder is made from high-purity aluminum oxide powder raw materials, through spray granulation into spherical powder, and then through multiple processes such as washing, drying, screening and strong magnetic iron removal. The common particle sizes are 15-45 um, 15-53 um, 40-80 um, 45-105 um, etc. It can be used for plasma spraying or supersonic flame thermal spraying.

Spherical Aluminum Oxide Powder Application

Spherical alumina powder has good fluidity, and can be used in plasma spraying, supersonic flame thermal spraying, and detonation spraying processes to prepare ceramic coatings that are resistant to fiber wear, high-speed particle impact, acid and alkali corrosion, and anti-static. The prepared alumina ceramic coating has the characteristics of good toughness, micro shock resistance, and strong polishing ability, and is widely used in accessories such as inner bushings, conveyor rollers, mechanical sealing rings, mud pump plungers, petroleum plungers, piston rods, automotive crankshafts, etc.
